Service Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RovoAPI services. By accessing or using RovoAPI, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Definition

RovoAPI provides:

• An AI API gateway aggregating multiple model providers
• OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic-compatible endpoints
• Real-time routing, cost tracking, and account management

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the service for illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes
• Not reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Maintain the confidentiality of your API keys
• Not resell or redistribute API access to third parties without explicit permission
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access

Prohibited Uses

• Generating illegal content (violence, hate speech, child exploitation)
• Spam, phishing, fraud, or malware distribution
• Bypassing rate limits or security measures
• Training competing products without authorization
• DDoS attacks or infrastructure abuse

3. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing is displayed in your dashboard and updated in real-time
• You are charged based on actual token consumption (input + output)
• Billing occurs monthly on the date your account was created
• We accept credit cards, Alipay, and other payment methods as listed
• Overdue accounts may be suspended until payment is received
• Refunds are not issued for consumed tokens, except where required by law

Rate Limits

• Varies by subscription tier (Trial / Pro / Max / Enterprise)
• Exceeding limits may result in 429 errors or temporary suspension

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We aim for 99.9% uptime during any calendar month, measured from our monitoring systems. Downtime excludes:

• Scheduled maintenance (announced 48 hours in advance)
• Issues caused by upstream providers
• Network issues beyond our control
• User-caused misconfigurations

SLA credits are the sole remedy for availability failures and cannot exceed 10% of monthly fees.

5. Intellectual Property

• You retain all rights to your data and prompts
• RovoAPI retains ownership of our platform, API, and infrastructure
• You grant us a license to use your feedback for improvement

6. Data and Privacy

• We do not store your prompts or API responses (transit-only)
• We collect usage data (tokens, models, timestamps) for billing and analytics

7. Limitation of Liability

RovoAPI is provided "as-is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the past 12 months
• Some jurisdictions do not allow liability limitations; local law may apply

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RovoAPI from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your content or data
• Your infringement of third-party rights

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in illegal activity
• Abuse the service or infrastructure
• Fail to pay for 30 days past due

You may terminate your account anytime, but you remain liable for accrued charges.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RovoAPI.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (for users in China) or the jurisdiction of your residence (for users elsewhere). Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or arbitration.
